warp records: bleep

BLEEP.com is such as smart move by Warp records. Instead of making a big deal out of the massive interest in mp3′s, electronic music label Warp is making their entire catalog available via download. Bleep hosts previews and exclusives, and you can preview tracks before buying them (for a buck or so). Most importantly, money spent on mp3′s goes back the the label & the artist (at least much more than you see at iTunes or other pay-per-download mp3 sites). For those that prefer the CD format, Warp is focusing its attention on creative package design, by the likes of The Designer’s Republic and other big names in graphic design. It seems that no matter what format you prefer, Warp delivers. Oh yeah, did I mention that Warp releases some of the best and most diverse electronic music around?
