A9 visual yellow pages
People are talking about A9, Amazon’s photo based Yellow pages.
It works like this: You enter an address or the name of a store, and it returns a photograph of that store. Try it, it works.
I’ve even heard that from some people that it will occasionally return a pictures of their house at street level. Really cool in a Big Brother kinda way.
But wait… Remember that this is just the beginning, folks. It’s only a mere matter of time before we will be able to grab real-time live audio and video of anywhere in the world whenever we want it. We’ll be able to call up a time and place and witness events unfold as if we were there. Our entire reality will be documented. The foreground of our lives will eventually blur with the background, and we’ll be able to focus our collective energies on other more important things.
