del.icio.us creator dedicates full-time efforts to del.icio.us

Great news for del.icio.us users. Creator Joshua Schachter has announced that he is quitting his job and focusing all his efforts on del.icio.us.

I’ve taken this step because it lets me continue to grow del.icio.us while keeping it independent.

I am excited to finally be able to devote all of my energy to working on and improving this site, and I’ll also be able to acquire some much-needed infrastructure.

I’m still in charge of the site and still committed to making it as good as it can be.

Personally, I am happy about this because it means that del.icio.us is here to stay, and will likely get some great feature additions. I hope that Joshua figures out a way to finance these efforts, but given the size of the del.icio.us community, that shouldn’t be hard.

It’s great that it’s here to stay. I’m a little cur.iou.s as to what type of finances could occur on a site like that. Btw like the new design. reminds me of pan sonic’s “a”
