12-inch Powerbook purchase

Well, I finally caved in and ordered a 12″ Powerbook to replace my aging (and [dying](http://trainque.com/index.php/2005/03/21/laptop-power-issues-solved-using-a-port-replicator/)) Compaq 2100 laptop.

This officially marks my “switch” to a mac.

Some quick specs:

* CD/CD-R/DVD/DVD-R Superdrive
* 768 MB RAM
* G4 1.5 MHz processor
* 100 gig hard drive
* 12″ screen
* OSX “Tiger” operating system
* built-in WiFi & Bluetooth
* USB/Firewire ports, etc.
* free HP scanner/printer/fax machine (after rebate)

More on this when it actually arrives.

    Doh. At the last minute I totally spaced on registering. Are you going? I was going to be out of town the days directly before and moving the days directly after anyhow.
